Respected Guardians and dear Students,
Gramin Mahila Shikshan Sansthan was established on 24 Feburary 1986 with the aim of empowerment of rural girls by facilitating them to carry on their higher education that was not available in the villages of the area. Most girls used to leave their studies after completing the primary education available in the schools of their respective villages.
This journey started with the establishment of girls hostel in the year 1992. Then, it continued with the establishment of Girls Senior Secondary School in the year 1999, Girls College in the year 2003, Gramin Girls Academy in the year 2011. Integrated B.Sc. B.Ed. and B.A. B.Ed. Courses were started in the year 2017 and Agriculture Science was added in the year 2024. NCC started in the year 2021.
This is an institute being run by the GMSS Society and Managed by the 16 member Executive committee elected by over 4505 primary members of the Society. We also have an advisory council of our veterans who have been associated with the institute since its inception and are the foundation of the GMSS structure of the day. The management team in the leadership of Engineer Jhabar Mal ji is having people from different domains of the society. The main source of funds for the society is donations by the revered members of the society from within India and abroad. The donations to the society are exempted from income tax under Sec. 80 G of the Indian Income Tax Act. The educational Institutes of the Society have well qualified Faculty, very neat and clean accommodative premises, well equipped world class library, play grounds for almost all the games including firing range and a well equipped Gym. Its hostels have all the modern facilities and gadgets for the comfort and safety of the girls.
The girls of the institute are not only proving their excellence in the field of education but have shown their prominence by being winners of various inter college and inter university games. Our girls have participated in National team and our student Ms. Rinku kumari has participated internationally in national baseball team for women.
The institute offers quality Education with very affordable cost and being run on no profit no loss basis unlike most other private institutions. Also it is an excellent centre for over all development of the girls of the area without any bias of religion cast etc.
I am confident that with the whole hearted cooperation of our members, the hard work of our faculty and students and able guidance of our management team we will be able to achieve new mile stones. My heartfelt gratitude to all the patrons for their immense support and guidance.
