Gramin Mahila Mahavidyalaya came into existence on 6th June 2003. The college received a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Government of Rajasthan and was granted permanent affiliation by the University of Rajasthan on 11th June 2011. The college has been recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under Sections 2(f) and 12(B). Being one of the four units of the Gramin Mahila Shikshan Sansthan, the college has access to shared facilities such as a hostel, primary health center, ambulance, overhead water tank for water supply, and the Silver Jubilee Hall located on the hostel campus. The institution is run and managed by the same governing body. In 2014, the college was accredited with Grade ‘B’ by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), Bangalore.
